Calculator Requirements

Calculators are allowed on all major mathematics examinations, including the SAT, ACT, Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs, PERT, and Advanced Placement, in addition to semester examinations.

All students enrolled in mathematics classes will need to have a calculator in class to use every day. If you buy a Texas Instruments calculator, please send the "TI Technology Points" to school with your child. A limited number of TI-83 calculators will be available to rent from school for $20. A fee will be assessed for lost or damaged rented calculators.
